Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services to clients seeking relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service in a calming environment.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized care
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
- Stay updated on new massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education
- Willing to market and build client base
- Looking for Monday and Tuesday potentially Sunday if interested
Experience
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a professional setting
- Certification or licensing as required by regulations for massage therapy is necessary
