Subjects We're Hiring For
- Mathematics — Elementary numeracy through algebra, geometry, calculus, and university-prep
- Chemistry — Core concepts to advanced organic and inorganic chemistry
- Physics — Mechanics, electricity, waves, and higher-level topics
- Biology — Life sciences, genetics, ecology, anatomy, and specialized areas
- General Science — Integrated science for elementary and middle school learners
What the Role Involves
- Develop customized lesson plans based on each student's goals, pace, and learning style
- Diagnose knowledge gaps and apply structured strategies to rebuild understanding
- Deliver engaging sessions via Zoom using simulations, digital tools, and interactive resources
- Document progress consistently and provide specific, actionable feedback
- Align instruction with Ontario Curriculum while adapting to individual student needs
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Education, Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Experience teaching or tutoring across a range of grade levels (Grade 3-12)
- Ability to make complex material approachable without oversimplifying it
- Confident working on camera and comfortable with standard digital tools
- Available for evening and weekend sessions
