Wellthera Integrated Health is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our premium multidisciplinary clinic in Barrie, Ontario.
This is an independent contractor practitioner opportunity for a professional, patient-focused physiotherapist who is trained in pelvic health and also interested in providing general physiotherapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
This opportunity is part of a larger clinical vision at Wellthera: building a comprehensive women’s health and pelvic health pathway that connects prenatal and postpartum care, pelvic floor physiotherapy, acupuncture, manual therapy, massage therapy, recovery-focused treatments, and long-term wellness support in one elevated multidisciplinary environment.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a registered physiotherapist with completed pelvic health training who can support both pelvic floor physiotherapy and general physiotherapy care.
The ideal practitioner is clinically thoughtful, warm, reliable, professional, and comfortable working with patients who may be experiencing sensitive, personal, or complex concerns.
This role may be a strong fit for a physiotherapist who wants to:
- Build a pelvic health and physiotherapy caseload in a premium multidisciplinary clinic
- Support prenatal and postpartum patients
- Treat pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, core and hip/pelvis concerns, and related conditions
- Provide general physiotherapy and orthopedic rehabilitation
- Collaborate professionally with massage therapists, acupuncturists, and future multidisciplinary practitioners

Clinical Focus Areas
This opportunity includes both pelvic floor physiotherapy and general physiotherapy / orthopedic rehabilitation.
Areas of clinical focus may include:
- Pelvic floor dysfunction
- Urinary incontinence
- Pelvic pain
- Prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation
- Diastasis recti
- C-section recovery support
- Pain with intercourse
- Constipation and bowel-related pelvic health concerns
- Menopause-related pelvic health concerns
- Core, hip, pelvis, and low back rehabilitation
- Orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Postural, mobility, and functional movement concerns
- Patient education, exercise prescription, and long-term care planning
Internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment may be provided where clinically appropriate, within the physiotherapist’s authorized scope, competence, training, insurance coverage, and applicable College requirements.
All care must be provided using informed consent, trauma-informed communication, privacy-conscious documentation, professional judgment, and evidence-informed practice. Treatment outcomes must never be guaranteed.

Schedule / Availability
We are especially interested in practitioners with recurring weekday, evening, and/or weekend availability.
Specific availability blocks can be discussed during the interview process and will be mutually agreed upon. This opportunity is structured around recurring clinic availability blocks and does not create guaranteed hours, guaranteed bookings, or an employment relationship.
Compensation / Earning Potential
Estimated annual earnings may range from approximately $55,000–$120,000+, based on an independent contractor percentage-split model.
Estimated earnings vary depending on practitioner availability, patient demand, service mix, booking utilization, services provided, and start date. The applicable split and compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process. No minimum earnings, bookings, or patient volume are guaranteed.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Be legally authorized to practise physiotherapy in Ontario
- Have completed pelvic health / pelvic floor physiotherapy training
- Be appropriately trained, competent, insured, and rostered where required for any controlled acts performed, including pelvic internal exams where applicable
- Carry professional liability insurance
- Be comfortable treating both pelvic health and general physiotherapy / orthopedic rehabilitation patients
- Practise within their authorized scope, training, competence, and insurance coverage
- Use informed consent and trauma-informed communication for sensitive pelvic health care
- Maintain professional, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Follow applicable privacy, consent, infection prevention, and professional standards
- Communicate warmly and professionally with patients and clinic team members
- Be reliable with mutually agreed clinic availability blocks
- Be comfortable using clinic booking, intake, charting, billing, and communication systems
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance suitable for a premium healthcare clinic
Preferred Assets
The following are assets, but not strict requirements:
- Experience treating prenatal and postpartum patients
- Experience treating pelvic pain, incontinence, diastasis recti, C-section recovery, and core/pelvis-related concerns
- Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic
- Experience with general orthopedic physiotherapy
- Strong patient education and exercise prescription skills
- Comfort working in a premium, hospitality-driven clinic environment
- Interest in helping build a women’s health and pelvic health service line
- Strong communication, rebooking, follow-up, and care-planning habits, where clinically appropriate and ethical
- Interest in long-term practice growth within a multidisciplinary clinic
