We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities
* Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues.
* Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and tune-ups.
* Use diagnostic equipment and repair tools safely and effectively.
* Explain vehicle issues and repair recommendations to customers when required.
* Complete repair orders, service records, and inspection reports accurately.
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques.
* Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or Automotive Service Technician.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
* Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime as required)
Pay: per hour (based on experience)
Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
