Our 18 truck fleet includes: 2 crane trucks, 8 straight (curtain) trucks, 1 straight (box) trucks and 5 bulk propane trucks.
Responsibilities Include:
As a Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of high pressure cylinders, liquid containers, minimal amounts of hard goods, etc. to customer locations. In addition, you will also:
· Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
· Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
· Follow safe operating procedures while completing the assigned tasks
· Complete shipping documents and related paperwork
· Conduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
· Perform end of day driver check-in to ensure accurate paperwork completion
· Identify need for repairs and/or maintenance to vehicles
Candidates must have:
· Valid DZ driver's license minimum 4 years
· Clean driving abstract and CVOR
· Ability to lift 60 lbs.
· Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
· Safety mindset
· Good customer service skills
· Ability to fill out forms accurately
· Knowledge of GTA an asset
