KTX Transport LTD. is a growing logistics company providing reliable transportation, warehousing, cross-docking, and temperature-controlled logistics services. We are currently looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Class 1 Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
- Pick up and deliver freight according to the assigned schedule
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and other required documentation
- Secure cargo properly and inspect freight for damage or discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff
- Report vehicle defects, delays, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in safe operating condition
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Acceptable driver’s abstract
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety requirements
- Ability to complete required inspections and documentation accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
