Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and sales-focused Associate Insurance Advisor to join our team. We are part of Co-operators Insurance, a leading Canadian insurance and financial services co-operative.
In this role, you will be responsible for development of the agency operation primarily through sales and service. This role utilizes a broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products and services.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about helping clients protect their future while advancing their careers in insurance sales.
How you will create impact:
- Sales, service and profitable growth of our insurance agency.
- Cultivating strong community relationships to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities to contribute to sales and growth goals.
- Actively focus on prospecting for all lines of business by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client.
- Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
- Achieve individual goals for sales, productivity and contribute to the achievement of overall agency sales and growth goals.
To join our team:
- Other Than Life (OTL) license is required.
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries
- A minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience including sales experience is preferred.
- Life Insurance License and/or Mutual Funds License is an asset.
- You will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

Salary information
Expected salary range $40,000 to $65,000
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education. The role includes commissions and annual bonuses based on performance metrics.
Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
