The Catering Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the catering operations at remote camps located in Northern British Columbia. The manager will oversee all catering and janitorial staff, ensure daily duties are being complete, ensure Kica standards are met, and to ensure the completion of paperwork and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Oversee all Catering and Janitorial Staff
- Ensure all food items are properly stored, served, and discarded as per HACCP and
Food Safe standards
- Track all grocery order submissions and maintain the camp budget
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience working in remote camps.
- At least 2 years of managerial experience.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Food Safe Certification and First Aid Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
