With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa, we provide engineering services to federal, provincial, and municipal governments across Canada.
As our Ontario operations continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Engineer to become a key member of our multidisciplinary team.
This is an opportunity to help build and shape our Mechanical discipline rather than simply filling a role in an established department.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical design for institutional, commercial, and government projects
- HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems design
- Equipment selection and system coordination
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with electrical, architectural, structural, and commissioning teams
- Participate in site reviews and construction support
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards
- Maintain high-quality CAD/Revit documentation and company standards
- Support proposal preparation and technical planning when required
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of relevant consulting experience
- P.Eng. designation preferred (or eligible to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code and applicable standards
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with institutional, healthcare, federal, or government projects is highly desirable
- Generator, emergency power, mission-critical, or commissioning experience is an asset
- Existing Government of Canada security clearance (Reliability Status or Secret) is an asset, or ability to obtain one
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
