We manufacture gravel products for in-house concrete production and construction/mining applications. The Position
Custom Concrete (Northern) is currently searching for experienced Loader Operators with mechanical skills and knowledge with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in the mining/construction industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate Front End Loader to Fill Bins and Stockpile
- Routine maintenance of equipment including grease and checking fluid levels
- Perform pre-start equipment inspection and report deficiencies to supervisor for correction as required
- Demonstrated ability to use equipment correctly and effectively
- Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment
Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Ability to Pass a Drug Test
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years’ experience operating loaders, Excavators and Dozers and asset
- Safe work background and culture
- Ability to accurately follow instructions and complete tasks with little or no supervision
Work Environment and Physical Conditions
- Ability to work outside and be exposed to all forms of weather conditions
- Physical requirements include: standing, walking, bending, sitting when driving, routinely lifting up to 50 lbs
- Climbing ladders up to 2.5 meters
- Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination are requirements of this job
- Use of hands, finger dexterity for manipulating the controls while operating equipment and plant is required
- This is a safety sensitive position
