Shipper/Receiver – WS Steel
Position: Shipper/Receiver (Full-Time)
Shift: Day (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Mon–Fri)
Location: WS Steel – Tier 1 OEM fabricator, ~150 employees

The Role
Load, unload, and process incoming and outgoing shipments. Operate material handling equipment, verify shipment accuracy, maintain records, and support production needs.
Core Duties
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using forklift and material handling equipment
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition
- Verify shipment contents against packing slips and documentation
- Operate and maintain forklift and material handling equipment
- Transport and store goods according to specifications
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
- Support production needs across all departments
- Follow standardized work procedures and safety protocols
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean and organized
- Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisor
Requirements
Must Have
- 1+ years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
- Forklift operation experience and certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, bending
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and accountable
Nice to Have
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S/6S, visual factory)

Hours & Compensation
- Full-time: 40 hours/week
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
