Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Business Development Strategist is at the heart of shaping and executing our growth strategies. Specializing in market analysis and pitch development, this role is responsible for crafting compelling presentations and tailoring our solutions to meet prospective clients' needs. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and insights.
Develop pitch decks, presentations, and proposals.
Find the right fit between BBTV's 360 solutions and the prospective partner's needs and weaknesses.
Build and maintain a knowledge repository of industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential strategic partnerships.
Work with the internal teams to onboard new accounts, ensuring that all knowledge is transferred in its entirety.
Leverage AI to build, improve and streamline processes and deliverables
Continuously track and analyze competitor offerings and industry developments to refine BBTV’s value proposition.
Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure that business development strategies align with company capabilities and objectives.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development initiatives, including ROI calculations and performance against set targets.
Collaborate with content teams to ensure that business development strategies are in sync with content creation and distribution capabilities.
Work with legal and finance teams to review and negotiate terms in partnership agreements, ensuring they align with company goals.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing partnerships to maximize revenue.
Use data analytics to personalize pitches and solutions to prospective clients, increasing the likelihood of successful engagements.
Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategy roles, with a track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
Curious about AI and the benefits it can bring to an organization, enjoys researching new technologies it’s implications for the company and market
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret market data and trends for strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and partners.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using relevant software for data analysis, presentation creation, and project management.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., ClickUp) and business intelligence tools for efficient data management and analysis.
Knowledge of various industries, market dynamics, and emerging trends to drive informed strategic planning.
Understanding of financial principles and budgeting to ensure alignment with revenue goals and financial targets.
