Job Description
- The successful candidate will enjoy the outdoors, has been exposed to or has experience working on a farm.
- Operating farm equipment and heavy equipment across various farms.
- Assisting with a variety of projects around vineyard, as required.
- Tractor and equipment operation.
- Maintenance & general clean-up of equipment and machinery.
- Monday - Friday. Saturdays full or part days depending on the season, hours may be adjusted due to certain weather conditions. Expect to have long durations outside.
- Longer work hours are expected and necessary during busy seasonal peaks and harvest times.
Requirements/Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates will require their own transportation, CSA approved safety boots or shoes and appropriate work wear.
- Must possess a minimal Class “G” driver’s license.
- Must be hard working, self-motivated, able to follow directions and be able to work independently.
- Training is provided.
- DZ or AZ license would be an asset.
- Pesticide license and experience would be an asset.
Compensation based on experience.
