Veterinary Practice Manager – Full-Time (In-Clinic)
Small Animal Veterinary Practice | Leadership Role
We are a busy, well-established small animal veterinary clinic with 4 veterinarians and approximately 20 staff, founded on caring, compassionate, and comforting care. We maintain high medical standards in a fast-paced environment and are known for our positive, collaborative team culture.
We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our leadership team.
Position Details
- Full-time, in-clinic position (5 days per week)
- Working in conjunction with the Assistant Manager and Veterinary Owner
- Leadership role supporting daily clinic operations and team success
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience in veterinary practice management, clinic management, or a comparable healthcare leadership role
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and veterinary practice management software (PIMS)
- Demonstrated experience with payroll, PST/GST, timekeeping, staff scheduling, and accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR)
- Experience running team meetings, supporting staff communication, and assisting with performance management
- Comfortable reviewing and administering contracts and policies in collaboration with ownership
- Knowledgeable in veterinary economics, including budgeting, cost control, KPIs, and financial reporting
- Calm, professional leadership style with the ability to guide, support, and motivate a large team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
- Must be a creative problem-solver who can develop and implement strategies to meet revenue targets and support business growth
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of veterinary practice workflow and team dynamics, with the ability to optimize responsibilities, improve efficiency, and support career progression for each team member.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive starting salary of approximately $66,000 per year, negotiable based on experience

Pay: $66,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
