We are seeking a talented Freelance Seamstress to join our creative team. Duties
- Measure and cut fabric according to project specifications
- Sew garments, costumes, or other fabric items with precision and quality control
- Alter and repair clothing or fabric items as needed
- Follow detailed instructions and patterns to ensure accuracy
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with clients or project managers regarding progress and adjustments
Experience
- Proven sewing experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or warehouse environments is advantageous
- Ability to operate various sewing machines and tools efficiently
- Prior experience in custom tailoring, costume design, or apparel manufacturing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
