Brookeside Education is recruiting experienced English teachers to teach English online. Students are typically aged 6-15; however, we also have adult students.
Must be available during 6-9pm China time (early morning in Canada). Peak times are 6-9pm Beijing China time Mon-Sun.
We are currently looking for a teacher to teach the following times (all in Beijing, China time):
1. - Student 1*: 25 minutes* - Monday 6:30pm and Thursday 6:00pm
2. Student 2 - 35 mins or 25 mins - Tuesday 7pm (35 mins), and Thursday 7:30pm (25 mins)
3. Student 3 - 55 mins - Friday 6pm
4. Student 4 - 55 mins - Friday 7pm
5. Student 5 - 55 mins - Saturday 6:30pm
Requirements:
- Over 1 year of teaching experience (especially to children)
- TESOL/TEFL certification
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Friendly and energetic
- Good with technology (such as ClassIn, Zoom, WeChat, WhatsApp)
- Reliable
- Have a computer and strong internet
- Long-term availability 1+ year
- IELTS/TOEFL/Exam prep experience is an asset
- Available to begin asap
Teachers may choose their own schedule, but must keep a regular schedule and be available at least 5 hours per week. It will take time to build up a full schedule, and hours are never guaranteed. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
Payment is $22 Canadian per 55-minute class, $11 per 25-minute class. Class materials are provided. Classes are paid monthly.
