Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310s Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical systems, with experience working in dealership environments preferred. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The 310s Mechanic will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by delivering high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly tools to complete repairs
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Work with heavy lifting equipment and perform tasks requiring physical strength
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience, preferably within a dealership setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with welding, assembly, and use of various hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid certification or license related to automotive repair is a plus but not mandatory
