Food Plant Quality Assurance /Control Technician , North York Dufferin/Steels/Finch
Require : one year food plant quality control; post sec. science education;MS Excel Word ; OR coop/recent grad
Duties:line checks:preop,changeovers,& sanitation;metal detectors,scales .CCP GMP BB dates;lot No's & packaging;temperature of coolers, freezers,controlled temp.;verify productin control sheets for temp,weights,volume,sensory;finished product inspection (RTE meals, and side dishes, Fed inspected CFIA)support staff policies personal hygiene, CORRECT EMPLOYEES so safe work;GMP training;work with production team quality paramentes, labels as per CFIA; raw material & finished product sampling;monitor for ATP swab non conformance;micro tests/environmental, allergens for product hold ;analyze data; HOURS 9 A.M-6 P.M., and 6 A.M-3PM ;occasional weekends ie Dec.
