We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Conveyancer with a minimum of three years of residential real estate experience to join our team full time in-person. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing residential conveyancing files from opening through completion while providing exceptional service to clients, lenders, realtors, and other stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage residential purchase, sale, refinance, and transfer files from file opening to closing.
- Review contracts of purchase and sale and identify key dates and conditions.
- Prepare and review all conveyancing documents, including Statements of Adjustments, Form A Transfers, Mortgage and financing documents, Property Transfer Tax Returns, Land Title Office filings, Trust letters and undertakings
- Conduct title, corporate, tax, and other relevant searches.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, realtors, mortgage brokers, and opposing counsel.
- Schedule and conduct client signing appointments.
- Prepare reporting letters and final reporting packages.
- Coordinate receipt and disbursement of trust funds.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Law Society rules and office procedures.
- Manage file deadlines and closing dates.
- Assist lawyers with complex conveyancing matters as required.
- Maintain accurate file records and document management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential conveyancing experience in a law firm or notary practice.
- Strong knowledge of British Columbia conveyancing procedures and Land Title Office requirements.
- Experience preparing and processing residential real estate transactions independently.
- Proficiency with conveyancing software such as Unity, E-Conveyance, PCLaw, ESILAW, LTSA applications, Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume workload.
- Professional, client-focused, and team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with new development and presale transactions.
- Familiarity with corporate and commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience training or mentoring junior staff.
- Knowledge of trust accounting procedures.

Pay: $42,550.71-$83,151.44 per year
