Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team at Olympia Greek Taverna. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all ingredients are properly portioned and prepared
- Monitor food cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Previous experience in meal preparation, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper handling of raw ingredients
-Ability to use a P.O.S. system and also answer phone calls
