Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance while working under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow schematics and assembly instructions to ensure proper installation of parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to learn advanced repair techniques and troubleshooting methods.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Experience with welding is a plus, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
