Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS transactions, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing
- Oversee sales management activities to meet or exceed sales targets through effective marketing and promotional strategies
- Ensure proper store presentation by maintaining merchandising standards and organizing product displays
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Monitor store budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and manage payroll processing
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a team-oriented environment
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
- Maintain organizational standards by ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Utilize strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing agreements
- Manage administrative duties including scheduling, reporting, and record keeping
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing initiatives
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop staff while fostering a positive team environment
- Knowledge of payroll processing and administrative procedures related to retail operations
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage time efficiently
- Experience with budgeting, inventory purchasing, supervising sales teams, and implementing promotional campaigns is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in retail management or business administration are advantageous
Pay: $15.50-$20.50 per hour
