Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient supply chain management, and lead a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with various warehouse management systems. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and implementing process improvements to optimize warehouse performance. The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in maintaining safety standards, enhancing productivity, and supporting overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including team management and supervising experience
- Oversee inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Utilize ERP systems and Warehouse Management System to track inventory and streamline operations
- Coordinate supply chain activities including purchasing, logistics, and 3PL partnerships
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct heavy lifting safely
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes through continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement strategies
- Manage warehouse distribution to ensure timely delivery of products
- Oversee the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Facilitate communication between departments to improve workflow efficiency
- Lead efforts in process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure high levels of customer service by maintaining accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with supervising experience
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems such as Netsuite
- Knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and logistics
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (heavy lifting included)
- Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin
- Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Data analysis skills for reporting and process improvement initiatives
- Ability to perform under pressure with excellent time management skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
