Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, colour, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling accessories to clients.
- Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure repeat business and positive client experiences.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully while maintaining client trust.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage clients professionally.
