About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, in-store position that combines marketing, website management, customer communication, and administrative support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoys both creative and administrative work. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in promoting our business while helping ensure our day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Create, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms
- Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments as appropriate
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events
- Capture photos and videos for social media and marketing materials
- Track and report on social media performance and audience growth
Website Management
- Update website content, images, promotions, and product information
- Assist with basic website maintenance and content management
- Coordinate with external vendors or web developers when required
- Ensure website information remains current and accurate
Administrative Support
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Manage schedules, appointments, and calendars
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with customer service and general office administration
- Support ownership and management with special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administration, marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing social media platforms for a business
- Comfortable updating website content using website management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with Canva, graphic design tools, photography, or email marketing platforms is considered an asset
