Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Coordinate food service activities to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to prevent shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to health standards
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
- Support menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
Experience
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Experience managing or leading a team within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with restaurant management procedures and customer service standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on high-quality food service is essential
