Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a vital part of our restaurant management, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and team coordination. Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Support the training and development of kitchen team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and special offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Serve as a leader during shifts, stepping in for the Head Chef when necessary
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse kitchen staff
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of hospitality standards
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and handling procedures
- Previous experience in kitchen management or as a sous chef is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills
- Hands-on experience with serving in fast-paced culinary settings

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
