Clinical Associate (Registered Psychotherapist or Social Worker)

Juniper Counselling Centre is growing, and we are looking for an experienced full-time Clinical Associate to join our highly sought-after private practice in Kanata.
We have a large and active waitlist, particularly for trauma therapy, so it does not take long to build a full caseload. This is a wonderful opportunity to step into a meaningful, steady practice with a warm, collaborative, and highly supportive team.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a clinician who is passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults who have experienced trauma.
Ideally, you have:
- Certification in EMDR
- Strong experience treating complex and developmental trauma
- Confidence supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of traumatic experiences
- A warm, collaborative, client-centred style
- A desire to continue growing clinically within a supportive team environment
The Role
- In-person therapy at our Kanata location
- Full-time schedule including:
- 2 mornings/early afternoons (8:00am to 1:00pm)
- 2 late afternoons/early evenings (1:30pm to 6:30pm)
- Alternating additional morning/evening or optional virtual day
- Dedicated office space (no switching between rooms)
- Average of approximately 18 client sessions per week

Strong Compensation
- $180 per session
- 70/30 split in your favour

Full Administrative Support
We manage referrals, marketing, scheduling, billing, and client communication so you can focus on clinical work.

Qualifications
- Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) or Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW)
- Minimum three years of post-graduate clinical experience (excluding internship/practicum)
- EMDR Certified (or equivalent advanced EMDR training)
- Strong clinical judgement and collaborative mindset
- Warm, thoughtful, client-centred approach
