Foley Dog Treat Company is hiring a full-time Packaging Lead to join our busy production facility. This is a hands-on, lead position responsible for maintaining the workflow on the packaging line.

The role:
The Packaging Lead is responsible for running the packaging line by working diligently, safely, and accurately. Daily tasks include but are not limited to operating packaging equipment, labeling product, ensuring lot codes and expiry dates and case labels are accurate, boxing and building orders to meet shipping deadlines. Coordinating the weekly packaging schedule and adherence to standard operating procedures is a critical function of the position.
The person:
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude – an efficient self starter
- Punctual and reliable, responsible for opening the facility in the morning.
- Attention to detail and process minded, a concern for order
- Ability to work in a team environment; establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Proficient in MS Word to print case labels
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks - manual lifting, stacking, loading, and unloading (up to 50lbs)
- Manufacturing or packaging experience is considered an asset
- Experience operating packaging equipment and pallet jacks is an asset
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices – Food Safety & Sanitation) knowledge is an asset
Schedule:
Full-time, permanent (35 to 40 hours per week)
Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm (no evenings or weekends!)
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
