Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Millwork CNC Operator & Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Millwork/Cabinet experience, and a strong mechanical and technical background, with a minimum of 5 years in CNC programming, and experience with Mozaik software and Fanuc controls. This role involves setting up, operating, and programming a 3 Axis CNC machine to produce precision Custom Cabinet and Millwork parts according to specifications. The successful applicant will contribute to efficient production processes and uphold quality standards through technical expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 3 Axis / vacuum CNC machine with Fanuc controls to produce high-quality cabinet and millwork components.
- Program CNC machines using Mozaik, CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and other CNC programming tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and changeover tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic maintenance, and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in assembly processes when required, utilizing power tools, hand tools, and other shop machinery such as Edge banders, Saws, Wide belt sanders....
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CNC programming and operation, particularly with Mozaic Software and Fanuc controls.
- Mechanical knowledge of machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks; experience with CAD/CAM integration is a plus.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, shop machinery, and forklift operation if certified.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes is required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.
