Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits LTD is a vertically-integrated company that owns vineyards, wineries and distribution operations, and is one of the largest integrated wineries in Canada. We currently own four wineries – three in Niagara and one in beautiful British Columbia.
We are currently hiring 2 temporary Warehouse & Delivery Associates for our Niagara on the Lake warehouse. The Warehouse & Delivery Associate is responsible for supporting both warehouse operations and delivery activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This role works collaboratively with the warehouse team to pick, pack, and prepare orders, while also safely transporting goods to customers when required. The associate ensures products are handled with care, deliveries are completed on time, inventory is maintained accurately, and a positive customer experience is upheld at all times.
This is a temporary contract for the summer offering full time hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm) with the potential for occasional overtime. This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy cases of wine (up to 50 lbs), prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, as well as loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Candidates must be comfortable performing manual labour throughout the day in varying conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and prepare all orders including Direct-To-Consumer (DTC), Wine Club, Licensee, VQA samples, brand ambassador, and LCBO orders.
Print labels, pack boxes, label shipments, and organize outgoing deliveries.
Lift, move, and stack full cases of product while preparing and staging orders.
Prepare and load deliveries into company vehicles.
Drive and deliver products safely and efficiently according to scheduled routes.
Plan and organize delivery routes in collaboration with the team.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service.
Maintain a safe, clean, and operational vehicle and coordinate routine maintenance.
Understand local routes to optimize delivery efficiency.
Receive, unload, and organize incoming products and packing materials.
Maintain inventory levels and track discrepancies.
Keep warehouse and packing areas clean and organized.
Use warehouse equipment such as pallet lifters and forklifts.
Accurately record order details and inventory updates.
Utilize online ordering systems such as Shopify and Commerce7.
Collaborate with teams to resolve order or delivery issues.
Manage returns and restock inventory.
Communicate delays or issues to appropriate team members.
Adhere to health, safety, and compliance policies.
Maintain a positive brand image.
