Dean Group's manufacturing division is now searching for Panel Wirer/Assemblers.
Role: Panel Wirer/Assemblers
Location: Cambridge, ON
Contract length: Ongoing - no end date (project based)
Vacancy Status: This posting is for a currently vacant position that we intend to fill.
Wage: $20.00/hour
Hours: Days or Afternoons
- Days; Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Afternoons; Monday - Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am
Electrical Panel Wirer job responsibilities:
- Mount electrical panel
- Strip wires
- Crimp a specific size ferrule to wires
- Connect the wires into the appropriate device in the panel such as terminal block, circuit breaker, drives etc.
- Other duties as required
What you will need to be a successful Electrical Panel Wirer:
- Experiences in the Electrical field is preferred
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to read electrical schematics is considered an asset
- Experience with crimping ferrules onto wires/strip wire
- Comfortable with repetitive work
- Hardworking and extremely reliable
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in an industrial setting
- High attention to detail
- Previous assembly or quality experience
