Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee and coordinate all information technology functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise across various platforms and tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The IT Manager will serve as a key driver in aligning technology initiatives with business goals while ensuring robust security measures and efficient operations.
Duties
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including networks, servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, vSphere), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Oversee system administration tasks for Windows Server, Linux environments, and database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases.
- Manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP configurations, Cisco routers, WAN/LAN infrastructure, and PCI compliance standards.
- Implement and monitor disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Coordinate software development projects utilizing SDLC methodologies (Agile), DevOps practices (CI/CD), application development (.NET, C#, Java), and APIs integration.
- Oversee vendor management for hardware/software procurement and service contracts.
- Provide technical support and guidance for help desk operations; troubleshoot hardware/software issues; support Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Microsoft Project, SCCM, IIS, DHCP, IIS configurations.
- Lead IT project management initiatives to improve operational efficiency; utilize tools like Jira for tracking progress.
- Ensure information security policies are enforced; manage system updates and patches; monitor network infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and upgrades aligned with organizational goals.
- Supervise IT staff; foster professional development; lead efforts in training on new systems or procedures.
Skills
- Extensive experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Citrix.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML.
- Expertise in database management including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle; familiarity with SAN storage solutions.
- Deep understanding of network infrastructure including Cisco routers/switches, TCP/IP protocols, TCP/UDP communication standards.
- Experience with system administration across Windows Server environments (Microsoft Windows Server) and Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including firewall configuration (Firewall), VPN setup, network security protocols (PCI compliance).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like PowerShell scripting and SCCM for automation and deployment tasks.
- Strong project management skills utilizing tools like Microsoft Project; experience leading Agile teams.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with leadership qualities; effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to manage complex IT projects from inception to completion while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: $64,062.13-$134,654.04 per year
