JOB DESCRIPTION
Smart Auto Recycling is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team in our Hamilton, ON location. We are seeking a positive, motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with customers.
SUMMARY
The Sales Associate will be responsible for selling new and used parts to local customers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning new skills and willing to work hard to achieve sales goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Responsible for selling parts to customers by responding to customer inquiries, selling parts by using the Smart Auto Recycling service system, and accepting payment.
·Responsible for maintaining the showroom, which includes cleaning, organizing, and stocking products as needed.
·Responsible for maintaining the inventory by performing regular sales calls to existing customers, processing returns, and restocking parts as needed.
·Responsible for maintaining the showroom by performing daily cleaning and cleaning tasks that include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping.
·Responsible for maintaining an organized and clean work environment by following standard operating procedures, completing daily inventory reports, and ensuring that all areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
·Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
·High school diploma or equivalent education required; Associates Degree preferred. College degree preferred. Must have reliable transportation to work location; Professional attitude is required. Basic math skills required; Proficient in using a calculator is helpful but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers. Ability to handle physical demands of the position (standing/walking/bending/filing). Ability to work in hot/humid environment (summer). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to work weekends occasionally.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
