Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Manager that can read plan's , add up material, proficient at scheduling the trades, to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction Drywall projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and quality standards while ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and proficiency with construction management software to deliver successful projects on time and within scope. Will also be responsible for hiring of staff that can effectively do the job's needed to be done. We looking to grow our commercial side of the business and would like someone who is looking to grow with the company.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations using Primavera P6 and other construction management tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to facilitate accurate project planning
- Utilize construction management software for project documentation, communication, and tracking progress
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality assurance
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and assist with contract negotiations
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
Requirements
- Experience supervising construction projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Proficiency in construction management software and related tools
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
- Experience in quality control procedures within the construction industry
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project documentation and scheduling
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
- Relevant experience in commercial or large-scale construction projects is preferred
Pay: $48,645.50-$128,266.54 per year
