Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic Helper to assist our skilled technicians in maintaining and repairing equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment under the supervision of senior mechanics
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, replacing parts, and assembling components
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues by observing and reporting problems to lead technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities
- Help with inventory management by organizing tools and parts needed for repairs
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with machinery is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
