Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect / Architectural professional to join our dynamic design team. This role involves creating innovative architectural solutions, managing projects from conception through completion, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural drafting, project management, and construction processes, with proficiency in a variety of design and visualization tools. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and construction documents adhering to project specifications and building codes.
- Utilize visualization tools like Adobe Creative Suite for presentation materials and client proposals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants through negotiation and effective communication to align project goals.
- Oversee project budgeting, construction estimating, and resource planning to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct site visits for renovation or construction projects to assess progress and resolve on-site issues.
- Assist in business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and participating in client meetings.
- Leverage skills in CAD drafting, construction documentation, and project management to streamline workflows and improve project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in architecture or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse project involvement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, 3ds Max (3ds <PERSON>), NavisWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam for PDF editing and markup; experience with Sketch for conceptual design is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, renovation processes, and construction experience preferred.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail; ability to produce precise technical drawings.
- Business development experience including negotiation skills to foster client relationships.
- Effective project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design principles is desirable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related discipline required; professional licensure is a plus.
