Footprint Custom Carpentry Inc. is a growing custom home and carpentry company based in Greater Victoria, building custom homes, carriage houses, saunas, and outdoor spaces like decks, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens.
We’re hiring an apprentice carpenter who can work regularly in North Saanich and across the Greater Victoria area, joining our core team as we take on larger, more detailed projects.
What you’ll do
- Support framing, exterior work, and interior finishing on custom homes, carriage houses, and small commercial projects.
- Assist with outdoor carpentry including decks, walkways, pergolas, shade structures, and outdoor kitchens.
- Help on specialty sauna and outdoor wellness builds for residential and hospitality clients.
- Work closely with experienced carpenters, keeping sites safe, organized, and professional.
What we’re looking for
- Registered apprentice carpenter in BC, ideally in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
- Some hands-on experience on residential sites (framing, formwork, or finishing) and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work in North Saanich frequently, as well as other Greater Victoria sites.
- Good attitude on site: you take direction well, show up prepared, and care about doing clean, accurate work.

Compensation and details
- Competitive hourly wage based on your apprentice year and experience.
- Full‑time, in‑person work based out of North Saanich / Greater Victoria.
- Variety of project types, with opportunities to learn from experienced carpenters and see jobs through from start to finish.
Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
