Our client is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to lead social media channels and digital storytelling initiatives. - Lead the development and execution of social media strategies, content, and campaigns across multiple digital channels.

- Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility through strategic digital campaigns.
- Manage content calendars, campaign planning, and relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, accessibility requirements, content governance, and digital communication best practices.
- Monitor social media conversations, audience sentiment, and emerging issues to help protect and enhance organizational reputation.
- Provide strategic communications advice and digital engagement recommendations to business partners and stakeholders.
- Analyze channel performance and campaign results, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools for content creation, audience insights, and performance analytics.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support emergency or issue-response communications as required.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in communications, digital communications, public affairs, journalism, content strategy, social media, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful social media and digital content strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical or complex information into engaging public-facing content.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content performance measurement, audience engagement, and digital analytics.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, especially in reputation-sensitive situations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while building effective partnerships across teams.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within utility, energy, government, regulatory, public affairs, or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with web content management systems, digital advertising platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
- Experience with crisis communications and issues management.

Working Conditions
