Community Inclusion Support Worker
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Wage: $22.77 hour (plus eligibility for benefits)/ $23.77 after probation

About the Role
As a Community Inclusion Worker, you will support individuals both one-to-one and within group settings to participate fully in community life.
This role blends traditional support work with intentional community-building. You will help individuals build skills, relationships, and confidence while also contributing to a vibrant, inclusive environment where everyone is valued.
What You’ll Do
- Build supportive, respectful relationships with individuals
- Support participation in community activities, outings, and social opportunities
- Facilitate skills development (social, practical, creative, vocational)
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-expression
- Support individuals to develop and maintain meaningful relationships
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive community atmosphere
- Provider or assist with personal care and daily living needs as required
- Implement and contribute to individual support plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and communication
- Collaborate with coworkers, families, and other professionals
- Adapt to both structured programming and flexible, evolving needs

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health, or complex needs.
- Ability to support individuals in 1:1 and group community settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Criminal Record Check for vulnerable populations (process by Cascadia).
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
Assets:
- Experience with trauma-informed practice and behavioural support; working with individuals with special needs.
- Interest in arts, crafts, music, or creative programming.
- Experience contributing to community-based or day programs.
