Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a reliable Drywall Delivery Driver and Assistant to join our team. This role involves delivering drywall materials to various construction sites while providing excellent customer service and assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse work, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport drywall materials to designated locations
- Assist with loading and unloading drywall using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders and obtaining necessary signatures from customers
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes
- Help with warehouse organization, including moving materials, inventory management, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally and courteously
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred
- Familiarity with moving heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Valid commercial driver’s license AZ or DZ (CDL) or equivalent is required
- Urgently required: Drywall deliver driver / assisstant between $20 and 32 per hour Only Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. 1.AZ or DZ 2.manual transmission 3.previous experience preference 4.Certificate for crane operation is required mandatory Send your resume: [email protected]
