Responsibilities:
- Process billing, invoicing, claims, and payment documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices, account records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable records, customer accounts, and billing files.
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist with payment follow-ups and account inquiries.
- Enter, scan, and process prescription, billing, and customer information using Kroll Pharmacy software.
- Maintain accurate records in both electronic and physical filing systems.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries from patients, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding billing and account matters.
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative and accounting-related duties as required.
- Screen and direct incoming calls while providing exceptional customer service.
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of invoices and claims.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to wholesale accounts and educational programs.
- Order, receive, and maintain office supplies and administrative materials.
- Perform other accounting, administrative, and customer service duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Accounts Receivable, billing, invoicing, or collections.
- Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience using Kroll Pharmacy software is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
