Nationwide Furniture is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Professional & Design Consultant to join our growing team. We are a locally owned business with a reputation for quality furnishings and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have an interest in home décor, furnishings, and interior design, along with a passion for helping customers create spaces they love. As a Sales Professional & Design Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding customers through their home furnishing decisions with expertise, creativity, and care.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their style, needs, and budget, providing personalized recommendations.
- Conduct in-store product presentations and room design consultations to showcase furniture and décor solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, collections, and design trends.
- Assist customers with inquiries, offering accurate information and friendly support.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Skills
- Strong interest in home décor, interior design, and furnishings.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to engage a wide variety of customers.
- Strong phone and in-person customer service etiquette.
- Ability to create engaging design presentations and showcase furniture features.
- Previous retail sales or design-related experience is an asset.
- Proficient with basic math and technology for handling transactions.
Pay and Hours
· 3-Month Guaranteed Income: To support your success, we provide a guaranteed base wage during your first three months while you learn our products and build your customer base.
· High Earning Potential: After the guarantee period, you’ll earn either your base wage or commission — whichever is higher. This means your income is always protected, but your potential is unlimited.
