Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced and friendly setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure all team members excel in their duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and quality standards
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving change
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service and efficient workflow
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed
