Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to manufacture high-quality components while meeting production schedules and maintaining company quality and safety standards.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
- Load materials, position workpieces correctly, and ensure they are securely fastened before machining.
- Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and work instructions.
- Upload or edit machine programs and make adjustments to optimize machine performance.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify quality issues and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Record production data, machine performance, and completed work accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production goals
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, metal fabrication, or precision manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G-code is an advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Comfortable using precision measuring equipment to verify product quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for extended periods during shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
