A well-established organization in the legal services industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator for a temporary contract opportunity in Kelowna, BC. As the Payroll Administrator, you will process payroll for BC employees, maintain compliance, resolve payroll inquiries, and support reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll for casual and permanent BC employees using ADP.
- Ensure payroll practices comply with BC employment standards, labour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, benefits, and union dues.
- Process new hires, terminations, payroll adjustments, and employee payroll updates.
- Reconcile payroll records and prepare payroll reports for Finance and HR stakeholders.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including T4s and Records of Employment, and respond to payroll inquiries.
