Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for painting by ensuring that surfaces are properly cleaned, sanded, and masked. We are also looking for an individual to help out as an Auto body assistant, detailing vehicles and cleaning up the shop. This is not a fast paced environment. We are looking for the right individual to join our already successful team. Wages are dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.
- Ensure all materials and equipment are organized and maintained.
- Maintain a clean work area, including emptying garbage's and cleaning the shop
- Collaborate with the painting team to ensure quality standards are met.
- Clean and Detail vehicles after the work has been completed
Requirements
- Auto Body knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the preparation process.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Background in Auto Body is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
