Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Interpret schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot systems and components
- Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Clearly communicate vehicle findings and repair recommendations
- Assist with heavy lifting when required, using proper safety techniques
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic (dealership experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
