Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service team member to provide an exceptional experience for our customers. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety and handling protocols to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with food preparation and serving tasks as needed
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and speed
- Ensure proper food safety practices are adhered to at all times, including proper food handling techniques
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
