Lita’s Mexican Foods is a growing food manufacturing company based in Richmond, BC, producing fresh food products for retail and food service customers across Canada.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Food Production Assistants to join our production team.
Job Type:

Pay:
- Starting at $17.85(minimum wage) per hour
- Approved overtime paid in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Responsibilities:
- Assist with cooking, food manufacturing, and packaging operations
- Prepare ingredients including washing, chopping, mixing, weighing, and portioning
- Package, label, and organize finished products
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support production leads and managers during daily operations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with dishwashing, garbage disposal, and end-of-day facility cleanup
- Help maintain expected daily production targets while ensuring product quality and food safety
Requirements:
- Food Safe certification is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable working in a physically active role
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous kitchen, warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience is an asset but not mandatory
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
